from the brand side: we spent years making brands legible to people, and now the system has to be legible to a model that never sees the moodboard. written-down taste - naming, voice, structure - is what an agent can actually read. the brands that documented theirs will be the easiest to recommend ✨

Yup, one theory I have is that agents (largely by virtue of how they were trained using reinforcement learning from human feedback) have a lower tolerance for cognitive dissonance in a sense that humans do. Brand consistency is even more key now.

But in a way, AI also appreciates rich storytelling, it just has to be exposed differently-- this is why including semantic attributes at the catalog level is so important.

All told though, I think marketing to agents will be a much more interesting and creative endeavor than you'd initially think!
